With all those mores also comes more weight continually bashing on the components of an e-bike. In order to overcome the increased forces induced by the technological progression of modern e-bikes WTB designed the HTZ wheels to be reliable sturdy and safe; keep riders rolling.

  • Capable of withstanding the forces of a modern e-bike HTZ rim walls are 25-30% thicker in comparison to those of standard rims
  • TCS 2.0 Tubeless ready for a dependable tubeless system
  • HTZ hubs feature a heat sink attached directly to the 6-bolt rotor mount to dissipate heat and reduce brake fade while using oversize 220mm rotors
  • Double-stacked Enduro sealed bearings to further increase stiness and extend bearing life
  • Heat-treated steel freehub body with six pawls that simultaneously engage to evenly distribute torsional forces while pedaling
  • Increased rear hub axle sleeve outer diameter to 17mm (thats 2mm thicker than a standard MTB hub) while remaining compatible with all traditional 12mm thru-axles. This eliminates axle ex improves ride quality and increases bearing longevity by reducing angular load while cornering or pedaling
